Will anybody give me some idea about how to add link just in practical senses. The thing is that I am no techie and that is why I just feel helpless while trying to do such things with my blogs.

If you are using blogger, I can help you. If you have the old version, you will need to go to your "TEMPLATE" and scroll down to the part where you see the parts that say "EDITME" or something like that. Use the code that is the same as you see it that, but I cannot give you "LESS THAN" or "MORE THAN" signs here. It will appear as code, and the computer will not show you what I write. You will understand when you see it.
Most links, banners or the such work like this:
a href="http://WhateverYouAreTryingToLink.blogspot.com/" I left out those two math signs, remember. You will need them on each end to open and close the link.
If you have the new blogger, go to LAYOUT. You will see on the side a section for you to add items to your blog. Just choose HTML/JavaScript for 3rd parties. You do not need a title, so skip the first thin line. Then when you come to area where you have a lot of room to write, that is where you place the code.
